Jupiter Conjunct Neptune

Jupiter Conjunct Neptune In Pisces

Jupiter Conjunct Neptune in Pisces is Big dreams, rose-colored glasses, and champagne on tap, or sirens singing sweet nothings, luring you straight into a trap.

Ahhhhhh, this energy feels like floating away on a river of pink clouds. Beneath its ethereal puffs and swirls, you could be hiding a magical mermaid's tail, or pull up an empty net, your dreams slipping through it like a slippery fish.

The energy of these two planets in Pisces is hazy and gauzy, like a lacy dress on hot skin.

It can feel easy to get swept away in this moment.

And after the past few years, I am inclined to let it be that easy, to float like a cloud,  to fill up on big hopes and even bigger dreams, to wish upon a hundred stars.

And I know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

So let's blow on those dandelion puffs and watch the seeds dance along on the breeze. Who knows where they will really land, but for now, we can imagine that one of those seeds will find a field of dreams, and fill it with dandelion puffs as far as the eye can see.

The coming together of two planets always heralds something new. The energy of a conjunction between Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces is like planting a big seed.

But what are we planting? You might think you know, but the seed comes from a mixed bag, and we won't be quite sure what it is until it grows and shows it's colors.

And this is a process that will take its sweet time.

The Jupiter Growth Cycle

Jupiter has a 12ish year cycle around the zodiac, so we will see the first leaves of growth in 1.5 years with the first sextile, followed by our first challenging season in around 3 years time.

A flowing, flowering period comes in around 4.5 years from now and then a pinnacle of sorts, the bearing of fruit, at around 6 years time when Jupiter reaches an opposition to Neptune.

The last harvest period happens in the waning trine. There is much fruit to be picked around the 7.5 year point, but any laziness can lead to loss- it's a lot of work to pick up that much fruit before it goes to the bugs, to the birds or goes flat out bad.

After that, the energy really starts winding down in the other direction, with the final square at about 9 years leading us prune away the spent leaves and branches of what has served its purpose.

During the final waning sextile at 10.5 years, we save seeds for the next season, harvest any roots that have value, and leave the rest for mulch to plant the seeds of the next cycle.

By the next conjunction between Neptune and Jupiter in about 13 or so years, this cycle will close and a new one will begin again.

And while there is an intangible element to this energy, we can still look at where this Neptune Jupiter conjunction is taking place in your chart. This will give clues to how you might be experiencing it. So will looking back at how the seed from the last conjunction, back in 2009 in the sign of Aquarius, grew over the cycle that just ended in mid-April 2022.

For myself, as a Libra rising, Aquarius is in my 5th house, so the last conjunction marked a period of having children, which is one way 5th house energy can play out.

The fifth house also rules creative projects, hobbies, recreation, games, romance and courtship or dating, and basically anything that's about having fun or bringing joy into your life, so there are plenty of other ways this energy could have played out for others in the fifth house, this is just one of my examples.

Recently, at the end of this cycle, my children have reached a different, markedly more independent phase of life.

I realized last month that I am no longer in the phase of mothering young children.

This recent conjunction, in Pisces, happend in my 6th house of work, service, and day to day routines.

On the exact day of the conjunction, I was invited to interview for a full time job, which I ultimately accepted. After thirteen years of focusing mostly on mothering, I now reenter the work force full throttle with both a full-time job and a time when my own online business is also starting to flourish.

Looking at your own chart and life events in this way can give you an idea of how this might grow for you over the next  cycle between Jupiter and Neptune.

Coming together at 23 degrees of Pisces, this will hit strongest if you have any planets or points in the 20 to 26 degrees range of any sign, especially the mutable signs.

Conjunct in Pisces, the energy can go either way, though it can skew closer to positive here.

Squares in Sagittarius or Gemini,
and in opposition to Virgo will have the most challenge with this energy. Though Jupiter is still a benefic bringing blessings and abundance, these placements reflect a struggle or an obstacle that needs to be overcome before you receive these Jupiterian gifts.

The other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, are receiving this energy in a trine, and therefore have the best opportunities from this particular alignment. But with such an easy flow, it can be easy to miss if you are not paying attention.

Next in line to benefit from this energy are the earth signs Capricorn and Taurus that fall sextile to this energy. These signs will need to stretch, reach and grow out of their comfort zone a little bit in order to reap the most from this aspect.

Aries, Aquarius, Leo and Libra are not struggling nor benefiting as much from this energy, since these signs make more minor aspects.

How have you experienced this energy?

Mars Conjunct Saturn

On Monday, Mars will join Saturn to exact degree. This conjunction between Saturn and Mars, the two malefics, happens roughly every two years.

Since this conjunction is between the two more difficult planets, it is often met with lots of fears. But there are some useful qualities of having these two energies come together.

This Mars Saturn conjunction is an ideal time to put together an action (Mars) plan (Saturn).

Especially right now.

We just wrapped up Q1 last week, so this is a great time look back on the first three months of the year and take stock.

Here are some great journaling questions:

-Where did you really shine and where did you struggle?

-What curveballs or surprises did Mercury retrograde back in January or the Mars Venus Pluto tryst in mid February bring you? How did you pivot or falter here?

-How realistic were the goals you set for quarter one? Did you accomplish at least 80% or do you need to scale back the girth if your goals for Q2?

-List 1-3 wins from this Quarter:

Once you take stock of Q1, take some time reflect and celebrate. Celebrating your success before moving on to the next thing, in this case Q2, is a key concept that many forget, I know I do.

But celebrating your successes and rewarding yourself for your wins, are integral to the process. Stopping to appreciate how far you've come gives you an "ending," a feeling of respite, that gives you like a psychological resting point before the next round.

So give yourself a reward this weekend!

Last week, I finished a very special project for readers just like you, (that I have been working on for two years, since the last mars/ Saturn conjunction). It was an amazing feeling to finish a two year project and a quarter at the same time!

I will be sharing more about it soon, but for now I'm taking my own advice and giving myself a much deserved break- on Friday, I binged on the first three episodes of Julia on HBO.

It was really good, and I even listened to a couple episodes of the accompanying podcast. Anyone else watching it?

Once you get celebration on, it's time to look forward into Q2.

The energy on Monday is great for rolling up your sleeves and making a plan for the next three months or even the next two years, depending on what you are trying to accomplish in your life right now.

You have probably already been working towards something, because the energy from this aspect has been building since Mars entered Aquarius on March 5/6, depending on your time zone.

Look at where this energy falls in your chart to get clues about what sort of plan you might benefit from right now. Below I have a few suggestions for each rising sign. Remember these are general and the unique placements of cusps, planets or aspects in your chart may affect this energy differently.

Aries Rising

You might benefit from developing a plan for building your audience, for becoming a social activist, for starting a club or group or for sharing a legacy project with the world.

Taurus Rising

You might benefit from developing a plan for creating a big legacy project, making a career move, or expanding in your purpose.

Gemini Rising

You might make a short term plan for studying a new topic or sharing your expertise or you might be planning a big trip somewhere within the next two years.

Cancer Rising

You might benefit from making a budget for joint finances, squaring away your taxes with an accountant, or preparing a mental health action plan with your therapist.

Leo Rising

You might benefit from sitting down with a business partner to create a Q2 plan together, or laying out steps for a passion project with a romantic partner.

Virgo Rising

You could look over your day-to-day routines to see where they can be cut back for for efficiency, evaluate your employees' performances, or make a plan to improve your cleaning or health regimen.

Libra Rising

You could benefit from formulating an outline for a creative project, creating an inspiration board for your baby's nursery, or making an online dating profile.

Scorpio Rising

You could benefit from planning a home renovation, preparing yourself for buying or moving to a new home, or setting a family reunion in motion.

Sagittarius Rising

You could benefit from creating a social media plan, outlining a writing or speaking project or making arrangements for a short trip.⁸

Capricorn Rising

You could benefit from making that Q2 budget plan, setting your Q2 goals and creating a two year plan for increasing your finances.

Aquarius Rising

You could benefit from taking stock of your whole life and cutting away whatever is getting in the way. This could especially relate to your physical body, but there could also be changes across all are azad of life. With Saturn in your house since last year, it's been a time of testing for you, and this conjunction is part of a larger, slower story that is unfolding for you.
